Todd Leighton

Todd Leighton has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Todd started their career at UW Aeronautical Laboratory as an Operations Crew member from September 1995 to June 1997. Todd then worked at Boeing as a Flight Operations Engineer from June 1997 to August 1998. Todd Leighton joined Aeronautical Testing Service, Inc. as an Aeronautical Engineer in August 1998 and remained in this role until June 2012. Todd then moved to Gripen Aeronautics in July 2012, where they served as an Aerospace Engineer and became the manager and lead engineer. Currently, they are the Director of Experimental Products at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification Inc. since May 2023. In their role as Product Development Manager at AeroTEC, Todd Leighton is responsible for a variety of flight test, wind tunnel test, prototype analysis, and design projects. Their responsibilities also include design analysis and manufacturing of hardware for project completion.

Todd Leighton attended the University of Washington from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. In addition, they have obtained the FAA Structures DER certification from the FAA in April 2012. Furthermore, they completed the Harvard Business Management and Leadership Course offered by Harvard Business School Online in March 2023.
