Ricardo Marin Carsi is an experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in research and development, automation, and robotics. Since July 2019, Ricardo has been serving as the R&D Manager at Aerotecnic, overseeing research initiatives for the Aerotecnic Group. Prior to this role, Ricardo worked as an Automation & Robotics Engineer at CATEC from October 2013 to June 2019, where responsibility included managing projects related to manufacturing and inspection processes in the aerospace sector. In academia, Ricardo conducted research on Advanced Fiber Placement during a master's thesis at the Lehrstuhl für Carbon Composites at the Technical University of Munich from October 2011 to October 2012. An internship in the Design Department at Esypro in mid-2011 provided additional experience in designing transport and automation systems for the automotive industry. Educational qualifications include a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a specialization in Advanced Fiber Placement for Carbon Fiber Composites from the Technical University of Munich.
