John Williams has extensive work experience in various industries, including the military, aviation, and business ownership. John started their career in 1998 with the US Army, where they worked as a Standardization Instructor Pilot until 2020. In 2005, they joined the 160th SOAR as an MH-60 DAP Instructor Pilot, a role they held until 2011. From 2013 to 2017, John was a Business Owner at Duck Donuts. In 2014, they also served as a Squadron Executive Officer at the Flight Concepts Division. In 2017, they joined Aviation Technology as a Troop Executive Officer until 2019 when they became the Director of Aviation Maintenance at the Aviation Technology Office. Lastly, in 2020, they joined Iron Sheepdog, initially as a Business Development Executive and later became the Regional Director for the Southeast region.
John Williams has a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Aeronautics, Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2016, they attended The Wharton School for Mission Critical Team Building without obtaining a degree. In 2014, they started studying National Security Strategic Studies at Duke University but it is unknown if they completed the degree. Additionally, they obtained an Airline Transport Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2012.
