Chad Chasteen

Chad Chasteen is a seasoned military leader with extensive experience in business development and operations within U.S. Army aviation. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Army Programs at AeroVironment since May 2023, Chasteen leads initiatives to enhance operational capabilities in the air and land domains. Previous roles include Director of Operations for Future Vertical Lift at Army Futures Command and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Chasteen commanded various esteemed units, including the Afghan Special Mission Wing and the 4-160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, demonstrating a strong track record in strategic planning and execution of complex military operations. Chasteen holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and additional advanced degrees in administration and psychology.
