Matt England

Matt England is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic growth and development within the unmanned systems industry. Currently, as Vice President of Strategic Growth at AeroVironment since November 2022, England also serves as Chief Growth Officer at Citadel Defense Company since January 2018. Previous roles include Vice President of Government Systems at CyPhy Works, Inc., where significant advancements in robotic technology were achieved between February 2010 and January 2018. Additionally, England contributed to the unmanned systems community as a Board Member for the Association of Unmanned Vehicles International from August 2010 to August 2014. Prior military service includes leadership positions within the US Army from September 1983 to January 2010, focusing on electronics and special developments, and serving in infantry and special operations. England holds a BS in Economics and Political Science from Lamar University and an MA in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
