Michael Tawata

Michael Tawata is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer at AeroVironment, progressing through titles from Intern to Engineer III since May 2019. In addition to current responsibilities, Michael served as Chief Engineer and Flight Test/Crew Chief Lead for the AeroDesign Team of USC, overseeing testing efforts, aircraft logistics, and custom flight sensor package development. Michael also held roles with USC Housing as a Customer Service Center Student Supervisor and at Servco Pacific Inc. as a Technology and Information Services Intern, focusing on ERP system upgrades. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, complemented by a minor in Applied Computer Security from the University of Southern California, Michael has a solid foundation in both technical and leadership skills.
