Neil Mouneimne is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at AeroVironment, overseeing large UAS projects and leading software teams, with a focus on DO-178 certification, requirements development, and process development since October 2021. Prior to this role, Neil served as a Principal Software Engineer on both small and large UAS projects. Experience includes a tenure at Mercury Systems as a Senior Principal Software Engineer/System Engineer, where Neil led specifications for the V-22 Osprey's JARVIS master computer and developed event logging systems using INTEGRITY-178/ARINC 653 RTOS. Neil also worked at Boeing for over 14 years in various capacities, including Patent Consultant and Senior Embedded Software Engineer, and earlier roles included freelance writing for Computer Games Online and editorial positions related to military simulations. Neil holds a JD in Intellectual Property from Southwestern Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cal Poly Pomona.
