Steven Quintero

Steven Quintero is an accomplished Autonomy Robotics Engineer and Controls Engineer at AeroVironment, with a career spanning from August 2015 to the present. Prior to this, Steven served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, focusing on advanced tracking and localization using UAVs and innovative algorithms inspired by biological behaviors. Steven's early experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, where contributions included designing monitoring systems for UAVs. Steven holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, along with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
