Joan Asencio

Joan Asencio has extensive work experience in data analytics, application development, and system administration. Joan is currently the Vice President of Application Development at AerSale, Inc., a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Development at AerSale, Inc. from 2020 to 2023. Joan also worked as the Director of Data Analytics at Kipu Health from 2019 to 2020 and as the BI Manager at Life Extension from 2016 to 2019. Joan has a strong background in BI development, having served as the BI Development Manager at TradeStation Securities from 2013 to 2016 and as the Web Application Development Manager at Edifice Information Management from 2010 to 2011. In addition, they earned a Web Solutions degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo in 2000 and a Bachelor's Degree in IT from Universidad APEC from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Technical Computer Programmer program at Instituto Tecnico Salesiano ITESA from 1991 to 1995. Joan also has various certifications in data science and SQL from institutions like Microsoft and edX.
