Aaron Cooper

Aaron Cooper has been with AES Ohio since 2013, serving as Chief Commercial Officer, US Utilities. Prior to that, they were with Grunder Landscaping Company from May 2012 to August 2012 where they were a team member. Aaron has also been with Tusculum College/Team USA Select from August 2008 to October 2012 where they were Basketball Team Captain/Basketball Team Member.

Aaron is a graduate of Tusculum College where they played 4 years of competitive basketball. Aaron has also volunteered at a number of European basketball clinics. Aaron is passionate about teaching young athletes the basic fundamentals of the game while stressing the importance of a strong work ethic. Aaron has positively communicated with numerous media outlets and fans while in Europe and has managed finances and a hectic professional schedule in several foreign countries.

Aaron Cooper's educational career began at Sinclair Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management. Aaron then transferred to Tusculum University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After working for several years, they decided to pursue a Master of Business Administration at Wright State University. In addition to their MBA, they also have a certification in Project Management from the University of Dayton Center for Leadership.

Aaron Cooper reports to Kristina Lund, President & CEO. They work with Brandi Davis-Handy - Chief Public Relations Officer, US Utilities, Kathy Storm - VP, US Smart Grid & Sr. Director, AES Ohio T&D Operations, and Ahmed Pasha - CFO.
