Ariel Szymanski

Ariel Szymanski is a Senior Analyst specializing in environmental compliance at The AES Corporation, focusing on late-stage PV and BESS development projects in the Western United States since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ariel served as a Project Manager and Project Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, where responsibilities included leading project teams and providing technical assistance on environmental compliance initiatives and due diligence transactions. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Geologist at AEI Consultants, where Ariel managed environmental due diligence investigations, and as an Environmental Planner at Green Road Consulting, overseeing a team of planners to ensure compliance with development regulations. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from California State University, Chico and an Associate's Degree in Social Science from Sierra College.
