Jennifer Gillcrist

Jennifer Gillcrist has a diverse work experience in various positions and companies. Jennifer is currently working at The AES Corporation as Vice President & Chief Corporate Counsel, where they joined in March 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Assistant Secretary at the same company since July 2021. Jennifer also had a role at Barclays Capital as an In-House Counsel - Investment Banking Division from September 2010 to March 2011. Jennifer joined Barclays Capital as a secondment from Freshfields and advised investment banking division senior management on compliance matters.

In the early years of their career, Jennifer worked at Mathematica Policy Research as a Specialist from January 2001 to August 2004, where they focused on the National Survey of SSI Children and Families and co-authored various publications. Jennifer also had an internship at the National Institutes of Health in the Department of Clinical Bioethics in 1999, where they contributed to studies on organ donation consent procedures.

Jennifer Gillcrist received their JD degree from the University of Virginia School of Law from 2004 to 2007. Jennifer studied Public Health at The Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2002, and earned a BA degree in Philosophy and Biological Sciences (Minor) from Wellesley College from 1996 to 2000. In 1998, Jennifer also briefly attended Dartmouth College.
