Krista Sweigart

Krista Sweigart has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Krista started their career as an Associate at K&L Gates from September 1996 to August 1999. Krista then worked as a Senior Manager - Legal at PPL Corporation from January 2003 to May 2004. After that, they served as a Corporate Counsel at Marriott International from May 2004 to May 2006. Following this, they worked as a Senior Attorney for Corporate Services at The Nature Conservancy from May 2006 to November 2006. In 2006, they joined The AES Corporation, where they held various roles, including Counsel from November 2006 to February 2011, Senior Corporate Counsel from February 2011 to July 2013, Chief of Staff, Global Operations from July 2013 to March 2016, Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions from March 2016 to April 2018, and currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Counsel, Commercial Transactions & Global Businesses.

Krista Sweigart earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and English from the University of Delaware from 1989 to 1993. Krista then pursued a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1993 to 1996.
