Nishank Sheth

Nishank Sheth is a experienced engineer specializing in energy systems and technology assessment. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at AESC, Inc., since May 2017, Nishank provides technical assessments for the California Public Utilities Commission’s Self Generation Incentive Program and evaluates new technologies. Previous roles include Energy Engineer at Makello, where Nishank enhanced energy modeling tools, and Graduate Research Fellow at the University of California, San Diego, where significant advancements in solar forecasting algorithms were achieved. Nishank also has a background in educational outreach through leadership with Make A Difference, and practical experience in project management from an internship at PV Power Tech. Nishank holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, completed an Energy Innovation program at Stanford University, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
