Mark Kovacs, PhD, FACSM, CSCS, currently serves as the Vice President of Health & Performance at Canyon Ranch, overseeing 11 divisions across 5 resorts and clubs. Since October 2016, Mark has been CEO and Institute Director of the Kovacs Institute, which provides elite individuals with tailored services in performance sciences. As a Lead Physiological Consultant for ATP Tour, Inc. and in advisory roles for Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech Accelerator and the robotics company Aescape, Mark focuses on innovating wellness and sports performance. Additionally, Mark is the Executive Director of the International Tennis Performance Association and President of Metis Performance, highlighting extensive expertise in human performance consulting for various organizations, including NCAA and USTA. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Human Performance from The University of Alabama and has completed advanced training in finance.
