Lanie Lacoursiere

Lanie LaCoursiere, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and accounting. Lanie is currently the Head of Finance at AESSEAL since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SASE Company, Inc. from 2019 to 2022, where they served as Controller and Assistant Controller. At SASE Company, Lanie played a key role in streamlining the finance and accounting function, reducing the month-end close process and identifying areas of improvement. Lanie managed an accounting staff of 4 individuals and was responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting. Earlier in their career, Lanie worked as an Intermediate Transportation Accountant at Clayton Homes from 2017 to 2019, and as an Accounts Receivable Closeout Specialist at SAIC from 2014 to 2017. Lanie started their career as an Accounting Assistant at Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union from 2013 to 2014. Lanie's experience demonstrates their ability to manage financial operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to the strategic positioning and growth of organizations.

Lanie began their educational journey at Pellissippi State Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued an Associate's Degree in General Studies. Building on this foundation, Lanie then attended East Tennessee State University from 2012 to 2014, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Finance, Corporate Finance, and Investments. Evidently determined to further enhance their knowledge and skills, Lanie joined Tusculum University from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Through their diverse educational experiences, Lanie has gained a solid academic background in various disciplines that will undoubtedly contribute to their professional growth and success.
