Kempton Baldridge

Kempton Baldridge is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Chief Mate and Safety Officer at AET since October 2022, Kempton supervises deck crew operations and ensures proper training for new personnel during ship-to-ship operations. Previous positions include 2nd Mate at AET, Maritime Coordinator at Community College of Baltimore County, and Research Assistant for the U.S. Naval Institute. Additional experience includes roles such as First Mate with Hornblower Cruises and Events, Marine Personnel Specialist II at SubCom, and various positions aboard Great Lakes freighters with American Maritime Officers. Kempton's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Technology from Great Lakes Maritime Academy and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The Johns Hopkins University.
