Rick Tullis

Chief Science Officer at Aethlon Medical

Rick Tullis has held various roles in the biotechnology industry since 1981, including Director of Product Development at Molecular Biosystems, Chairman and CEO of Synthetic Genetics, Vice President at Molecular Biology Resources, President of Syngen Research, and currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at Aethlon Medical. Rick has experience in research and development of oligonucleotides, extracorporeal treatments for virus removal, and has managed DNA operations.

Rick Tullis completed their Bachelor of Science in Zoology at UCLA in 1966, followed by a PhD in Biology/Enzymology from UC San Diego in 1975. Rick then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1976 to 1978, focusing on postdoc research in sea urchins with Dr. Tom Humphreys. Prior to this, they graduated from La Jolla High in 1962 with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences.
