Jaden Langford

Director, Global Acquisition Operations at Aethon Aerial

Jaden Langford has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2003, they started their career as a High School Teacher at Claremont Secondary School. They then moved on to work as a Lab Instructor at the University of Victoria from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, Jaden transitioned into the field of remote sensing and worked as a Remote Sensing Analyst at Terra Remote Sensing until 2007. They later joined Natural Resources Canada as a Remote Sensing Analyst in 2009 before moving to CopperMoon Communications as a Project Manager from 2009 to 2010. Jaden then joined Airborne 1 Corporation as a Field Operations Specialist from 2010 to 2012.

From 2013 to 2019, Jaden worked at GeoDigital, starting as a Field Lead and later transitioning into the role of Acquisition Manager. They supported data acquisition projects across the USA, provided training and troubleshooting, and ensured quality assurance. Jaden also played a significant role in project management, data processing, and quality assurance for various mapping projects.

Most recently, Jaden joined Aethon Aerial as the Director of Global Acquisition Operations in 2023.

Jaden Langford attended the University of Victoria from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Remote Sensing. In addition to their formal education, Jaden has obtained two additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Global Mapper Certification from Blue Marble Geographics, and in 2018, they obtained a Kinematic Training Certification - General Process Workflow for Laser Scanning from RIEGL.
