Amelia Boehme

Amelia Boehme currently serves as the Director of Science at Aetion, a position held since July 2022. Concurrently, Amelia is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center, where involvement includes responsibilities as a Neuroepidemiology Fellow focused on data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, manuscript, and grant preparation since June 2014. Amelia's academic journey began at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology was earned from 2010 to 2014, alongside a Master of Science in Public Health in Epidemiology from 2008 to 2010. Research interests encompass drug-gene interactions with anti-thrombotic medications in heart failure patients and statistical methodology, particularly causal inference.
