Charlie Cichetti

Charlie Cichetti has an extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and green building consulting. Charlie is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Blue Ocean Sustainability, a technology company that partners with design professionals to improve project sustainability. Charlie is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Aetos Imaging, a venture-backed startup that provides immersive 3D learning management systems for commercial real estate.

Prior to their current roles, Charlie was the CEO and Co-Founder of Sustainable Investment Group (SIG), a full-service green building consulting firm. Charlie also served as the CEO of Green Building Education Services (GBES), which offers LEED and WELL exam prep courses and practice tests.

Before their ventures in sustainability, Charlie gained experience as a Senior Program Manager at Sustainable Options, LLC, as well as a Project Manager at The Opus Group and an Assistant Project Manager at Batson-Cook Company. Charlie started their career as a Project Engineer at Genoa Construction Services, Inc.

Throughout their career, Charlie has been dedicated to promoting sustainability, education, and innovation in the built environment.

Charlie Cichetti attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. In addition to their formal education, Charlie also holds several certifications, including LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP Homes, LEED AP ID+C, LEED AP ND, LEED AP O+M, LEED Fellow, and WELL AP, all obtained from various institutions such as Green Business Certification, Inc., U.S. Green Building Council, and the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
