Eric Tamayo

Eric Tamayo is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in hardware development. Currently employed at Aeva since March 2021, Eric focuses on hardware engineering projects. Previously, Eric worked at Molex from June 2015 to March 2021 as a hardware development engineer, where successful delivery of mass production contactless high-speed solutions was achieved, significantly enhancing mechanical design and functionality for clients such as Oppo, Foxconn, and Samsung. Earlier in the career, Eric gained valuable experience as an electrical engineering intern at the California Department of Water Resources from May 2011 to May 2015, where responsibilities included supervising PLC installation and developing rework procedures to facilitate control system upgrades.
