Rick Richter

Rick Richter is a seasoned professional in the publishing and media industries, currently serving as a Senior Partner at Aevitas Creative Management since September 2014, and previously held the position of Partner. Prior experience includes serving as a Board Trustee for Connecticut Public Broadcasting from January 2012 to October 2015 and co-founding Ruckus Media Group, where Richter led the company as CEO from September 2009 to February 2014, establishing a mobile family entertainment platform in partnership with notable brands. As President of Sales and Distribution and President of the Children's Division at Simon & Schuster from August 1996 to December 2008, Richter significantly increased sales from $55 million to $235 million. Earlier, Richter was President and CEO of Candlewick Press from January 1990 to July 1996, playing a crucial role in the company’s early growth. Richter holds a B.A. in English from Skidmore College.
