Alfred Della Porta

Al Della Porta is a Managing Director in AEW’s Capital Markets Group with responsibility for financings, subordinate debt investment originations, and strategic asset dispositions on behalf of the firm’s institutional clients and funds. Since joining AEW in 1998, he has executed over $10 billion of capital market transactions including project and entity level financings as well as over $250 million of mezzanine and B-note investments across various markets and property types including multifamily, industrial, office, senior housing and hotels. Prior to joining AEW, he worked for Konover & Associates, a private retail developer. Mr. Della Porta is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate & Urban Economics. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and Mortgage Bankers Association.
