Yaacov Michlin

Yaacov Michlin has extensive experience in various positions in the field of life sciences, technology, and healthcare. Yaacov is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of BioLight Life Sciences Ltd., a company focused on developing and commercializing products in the ophthalmic space.

In addition to their role at BioLight, Michlin also holds the position of Chairman at MIXiii Health-Tech.IL, an organization that promotes innovation in health technology. Yaacov is also the Co-Chairman of IATI - Israeli Advanced Technology Industries, a platform that supports and promotes the Israeli technology ecosystem.

Furthermore, Michlin serves as the Chairman of the Board at DiagnosTear Ltd., a company specializing in tear diagnostics. Yaacov is also a Director at AEYE Health, a healthcare organization that leverages artificial intelligence for eye care.

Yaacov Michlin completed their education at various institutions over the years. Yaacov first attended Segula from 1978 to 1983 for their early education. Following this, they enrolled at Amit Technological Bar Ilan High School from 1983 to 1987. In 1991, they pursued a degree in Law & Economics at Bar-Ilan University, where they studied until 1997, earning an LLM. Later, from 2005 to 2007, Yaacov Michlin attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology for an MBA, focusing on MBA studies. Recently, in 2021, they enrolled in the Executive HealthTech Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education, further expanding their knowledge and expertise.
