Marcelo Soares

Marcelo Soares is a civil engineer with extensive experience in civil projects and topographic surveys. Currently serving as Técnico Fiscal at afaplan since August 2023, Marcelo previously worked as a civil engineer at Ivelo Engenharia, where responsibilities centered around topographic surveys and civil project development. Prior experience includes roles at Nattiva Engenharia Civil e Ambiental, focusing on topographic surveys, project implementation, and site supervision, as well as serving as an analyst of projects at Cartório de Registro de Imóveis de Pouso Alegre, where tasks involved analyzing topographic services and creating a database of registered polygons. Marcelo's early career included an internship as a Técnico em Edificação at Marphesa Construções, where involvement in reform projects and the use of AutoCAD was prominent. Marcelo holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Civil Constructions at Politécnico da Guarda.
