Rachel Rudwall is a creative professional with over a decade of experience in media, brand, and private client work. Rachel began their career in 2012 as Creative Director & Consultant for their own company, Rachel Roams, where they worked with executive, communications, and marketing teams to hone storytelling visions and bring creative campaigns to life. Rachel also served as Producer, Camera Operator, Editor, and Host on content from 7 continents and nearly 70 countries, producing over 200 episodes of proprietary digital series.
In 2020, Rudwall became a Media Producer and Public-facing Refugee Champion for the United Nations Refugee Agency, USA for UNHCR. Rachel promoted the rights of refugees through digital storytelling campaigns, fundraising efforts, and livestream event emceeing.
From 2013-2018, Rudwall worked with the Travel Channel International as a Producer, Host, and Travel Expert for news and lifestyle programming across TV & Digital. Rachel was also seen on ABC, HLN, and Travel Channel, plus branded video content for clients like TIME, BMW, Mashable, and Tastemade.
In 2016, they became a Photographer, Writer, Video Producer, and Ambassador for AFAR Media, crafting content from the far reaches of the globe. Rachel also began their work with TED Conferences as a Keynote and Public Speaker, Lecturer, and Workshop Leader.
In 2018, Rudwall joined Tastemade as a Producer, Host, and Camera Operator, crafting custom travel content from the U.S. Rachel was also a Featured Writer and Photographer for Forbes, TIME, AFAR, Marriott Bonvoy Traveler, UPROXX, Tastemade, Olympus, Marie Claire, Passion Passport, and Unearth Women.
In 2017, they became a Host for various digital travel series in conjunction with branded initiatives for Time Inc. Rachel also served as a Guest Co-Host and Travel Expert on ABC talk show "The FABLife," engaging a live studio audience through live-to-tape and pre-taped segments.
In 2022, Rudwall began working with MAS as a Content Producer, producing an opening video for a live event featuring 150+ flagship YouTube creators from around the world, while managing an edit team and client relationship. Rachel also produced main stage content, including an anthem video, interstitial content, keynote speeches, and live-to-tape broadcast deliverable.
Rachel Rudwall obtained a B.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Spanish from Miami University. Rachel also completed a study abroad program in International Relations at the University of St Andrews, as well as a study abroad program in Spanish at Servicio de Programas Universitarios (UVA). Additionally, they are a Fellow of The Explorers Club (obtained in March 2019) and holds certifications in SCUBA (Open Water, Enriched Air, Peak Performance Buoyancy) from PADI, and Wilderness First Aid / Professional Rescuer CPR from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
