Abdul - Salaam Alhassan

Abdul - Salaam Alhassan is a seasoned professional in community mobilization and agricultural development, currently serving as a Community Mobilization and Vegetable Value Chain Expert at AFC Agriculture and Finance Consultants since October 2017. In this role, Abdul - Salaam develops inventories of common interest groups, initiates cooperation contracts with local NGOs, trains and supervises Community Support Officers, and facilitates stakeholder participation in agricultural initiatives. Previously, as a Zonal Technical Assistant for the Rice Sector Support Program, Abdul - Salaam coordinated efforts to enhance farmer livelihoods and improve rice productivity across various regions. Additionally, experience includes serving as an M&E officer for the ADVANCE project. Abdul - Salaam holds an MSc. Degree in Management of Development with a specialization in rural development and food security from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences.
