Hisham Abi Ammar

Hisham Abi Ammar is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Strategy Senior Manager for AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 since May 2023, while concurrently holding the position of Host Country Health & Safety - Assurance Manager at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy since October 2013. In the latter role, Hisham is responsible for health and safety tournament readiness, stakeholder management, and the assurance of safety at various non-official sites during the World Cup. Hisham also leads the implementation of an assurance software platform utilized by over 5000 users for the 2022 FIFA World Cup projects and has developed an Organizational Resilience Framework for the Supreme Committee. Previously, Hisham worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, focusing on IT advisory, risk management, and business continuity strategy planning. Hisham holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering from the American University of Beirut, along with experience as a Research Scholar in Computer Engineering at Rice University.
