Irvin Mukandi Bsc

Irvin Mukandi holds a BSc in Sport Psychology and Coaching Sciences and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning. Currently, Irvin serves as the Academy Head of Performance and Medicine at AFC Bournemouth, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this role, Irvin worked as the Head of 1st Team Strength and Conditioning at Ipswich Town FC from June 2021 to June 2025, and as an Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach at Arsenal F.C. from August 2014 to June 2021, where additional duties included serving as the assistant coach for the Arsenal Women’s Reserve Team. Irvin's extensive experience also includes various coaching and conditioning roles at Forest School, Queen Mary University of London, British Fencing, Bournemouth University, and a prior coaching position at AFC Bournemouth's Centre of Excellence.
