Chris Tingay

Chris Tingay is an experienced professional with a diverse background in recruitment, administration, and care coordination. Currently serving as the Head of Recruitment at AFC Crewe since November 2022, Chris is part of a dedicated team focused on scouting and recruiting football players. In addition to this role, Chris has been an Administrative Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions since June 2022, managing sensitive client appeals and inquiries. Previously, Chris founded a care agency during the COVID pandemic, providing agency staff to care homes, and held senior positions in care coordination, overseeing teams and implementing new systems. Chris's career began in sports as a professional football player and has included roles in hospitality and support work. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Studies from Liverpool Hope University and a National Certificate in Sport & Exercise Science from Chesterfield College.
