Kirill Vorotnikov

Kirill Vorotnikov, PhD, is a Modeling and Simulations Systems Engineer at Astroscale since May 2021, where expertise in mechanical system modeling within SIMSCAPE Multibody is applied. Additionally, Kirill serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, teaching courses in Strength of Materials II and III. Kirill has previously held positions as a Senior Lecturer and Department Coordinator at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SCE, overseeing key courses in mechanics and math. Prior research as a Research Associate at Technion focused on one-dimensional chain dynamics, while earlier roles included postdoctoral research at Inria on numerical dissipation in granular chains. Educational qualifications include a PhD and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Technion.
