Wei Zhang

Wei (Michelle) Zhang has a strong background in biometrics and statistical analysis. Wei (Michelle) is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Biometrics at AffaMed Therapeutics since February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director and Head of US at PPC优生 from March 2020 to February 2021. Wei (Michelle) also has experience working at the FDA, where they served as a Supervisory Mathematical Statistician from September 2017 to March 2020, and as a Mathematical Statistician from December 2009 to August 2017.

Wei (Michelle) Zhang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, they completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Science and Technology of China. In addition, they obtained a certification for The Science and Business of Biotechnology from edX in 2021.
