Greg Barnes

Greg Barnes started their career in 1995 as a Marketing Production Manager at Thomson Reuters. Greg then moved on to work at Unity One Credit Union as Vice President of Marketing from 1999 to 2007. After that, they joined One Nevada Credit Union as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, where they worked until 2017. From 2017 to 2022, Greg held the role of Senior Vice President of Retail Product and Digital Experience at Broadway Bank. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at AFFCU starting in March 2022.

Greg Barnes attended the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School from 2021 to 2023, where they studied Consumer Bankers Executive Banking. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Journalism from Texas Wesleyan University, which they attended from 1991 to 1994. Greg also studied Marketing and Computer Science at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, Greg obtained a certification in CBA Executive Banking School from the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School in August 2023.
