Ryan Ross, MBA, CCE has had a successful career in the credit union industry. Ryan most recently served as President/CEO of AFFCU since September 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Vice President at Pen Air Federal Credit Union from July 2014 to September 2020. Ryan gained valuable experience as a Risk Manager at SAFE Federal Credit Union from September 2008 to July 2014.

Ryan Ross, MBA, CCE has a diverse education history that includes degrees and certifications in various fields. Ryan earned a Bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University, and later pursued an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Ryan attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education, where they focused on strategic growth. In 2018, Ryan enrolled in the Wharton School for strategic planning. Ryan further enhanced their knowledge by attending the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2019, specializing in organizational effectiveness. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in strategic leadership development from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

In addition to their degrees, Ryan Ross holds several certifications. Ryan obtained the Certified Chief Executive (CCE) certification from CUES in March 2021. In December 2018, they acquired the Credit Union Business Lending Professional certification from CUES. Ryan also possesses the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) certification from the Credit Union National Association, as well as the Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) certification. Furthermore, Ryan has the NCCO certification from the NAFCU (National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions).
