Yanko Sheiretov

Yanko Sheiretov has a strong background in engineering and technology, with over 25 years of experience in various roles. Yanko started their career at Diversified Technologies, Inc. in 1994 as a Project Engineer. Yanko later joined JENTEK Sensors, Inc. in 1994, where they served as the Sr. Vice President of Product Development. In this role, they led the electronics and software teams in the successful development of JENTEK's products. Yanko was also directly involved in all engineering tasks. Yanko joined Aura Communications, Inc. in 1995 as a Development Engineer, where they were responsible for system circuit design for their wireless battery-operated headset. Most recently, Yanko has been working at Affera, Inc. since 2016 as a Principal Engineer.

Yanko Sheiretov's education history begins in 1983 when they attended 114 AEG, where they did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study. From 1986 to 1988, they attended the United World College of the American West and obtained an International Baccalaureate. Yanko then enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Yanko continued their education at MIT, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field from 1992 to 1994. Yanko later pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at MIT from 1998 to 2001, completing their academic journey.
