Manuel Barata

Manuel Barata serves as the Controlling Manager at Affidea since March 2019, where responsibilities include leading a Controlling Team, overseeing monthly financial reporting per IFRS standards, and managing internal control procedures and budgeting. Prior to this role, Manuel held the position of Finance Manager at Kofler Group Portugal, overseeing the Finance and Accounting department, where notable tasks included financial reporting and internal control management. Earlier experience includes Business Controller at GrandVision Portugal, managing a team and performing financial reporting and budget reviews. Additional roles include short-term assignments in finance management and extensive experience at Deloitte and Accenture Portugal in various financial positions. Manuel holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from ISCTE Business School and a Post-graduation in Finance and Business Control from INDEG-ISCTE.
