Keith Garratt

Keith is the Managing Director of AEI’s Boston office and has more than 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He has provided engineering solutions for many industries including healthcare, higher education, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and food processing. Keith is skilled in MEP assessments and master planning, with a depth of experience in electrical infrastructure and building systems, including medium voltage and low voltage power distribution. He understands the importance of business continuity and has developed a specialty in leading phased infrastructure replacements in facilities that cannot interrupt operations. These projects have included chiller plants, boiler plants, air handling unit replacements, hot water systems, emergency generator plants and major switchgear upgrades.

Keith is experienced in alternate delivery methods, including IPD and design build. He consistently creates team environments that use lean methodologies to be highly collaborative and integrated. In addition to managing the operations and personnel for the Boston office, he provides project management and electrical engineering leadership for projects. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Babson College.
