Kerstin Pietzko

Kerstin Pietzko has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Kerstin began their career as a nurse at Klinikum Landshut / Bezirkskrankenhaus Landshut, where they worked in the Accident Surgery Dept. and Drug Addiction Dept. from 1999 to 2002. Kerstin then transitioned into the field of data sciences and statistical analysis, working as a Solutions Consultant, Clinical Application Lead at TIBCO Software, Spotfire Division from 2007 to 2011. Kerstin later joined Boehringer Ingelheim, where they held various roles, including Senior Business Analyst from 2011 to 2012, Senior Biostatistician from 2012 to 2016, and Principal Statistician from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they worked at Novo Nordisk A/S as a Statistical Specialist from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Affimed as the Senior Director Data Sciences since 2019 and has recently taken on the role of VP Data Sciences starting in December 2022. Kerstin Pietzko has demonstrated expertise in data sciences, statistical analysis, and project management throughout their career.

Kerstin Pietzko pursued their education from 1996 to 1999 at Klinikum Landshut - School for Nurses, where they completed their Nurse degree. Following that, they attended the University of Applied Science Regensburg from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their Diploma in Mathematics.
