Angela Sanchez

Angela Sanchez has a strong background in the technology and healthcare industries. Angela currently serves as the Vice President of Application Services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Software Engineering at the same company from May 2017 to November 2021.

Before joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Sanchez worked at Sparkhound as a Director of Business Development and Technical Advisor from 2016 to 2017. Angela also has experience at Amedisys Home Health & Hospice as a Senior Director of Enterprise Information Management Communications from 2012 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Sanchez worked at Edgen Murray Corporation as a Senior Application and Oracle Database Administrator from 2009 to 2012, and at The Shaw Group as a Business Systems Manager from 2001 to 2009.

Angela Sanchez obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Louisiana State University in 2006. Angela also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Science (ISDS) from the same university in 2001. Currently, they are pursuing a field of study in Product Strategy at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, starting in 2021.
