Betty Liu

Betty Liu's work experience includes positions at various companies in the healthcare and IT fields. Betty began their career as an Advisory IT Specialist at IBM China, where they mentored team members and presented e-business solutions to customers. Betty then worked as an IT Technical Support at the Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice, where they conducted server administration and led a domain splitting project. Betty later joined the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals as an Information Technology Consultant, where they established an IT security program and addressed audit findings. Betty then moved on to Amerigroup Inc.-Louisiana as a Business Information Consultant before joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. At Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Betty held roles such as Lead Reimbursement Analyst and Healthcare Informatics Analyst, where they conducted data quality audits, developed analytic solutions, and performed data quality reviews. Overall, Betty Liu has gained extensive experience in IT, healthcare analytics, and reimbursement analysis throughout their career.

Betty Liu earned their B.S. in Computer Science from Fudan University in 1990. Betty then went on to pursue their Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Fudan University, which they completed in 1993. Betty later attended Louisiana State University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an MBA with a concentration in Information and Decision Science.
