Jerry Xu

Jerry (Jiarui) Xu is an ML Engineering Manager at Affirm, having transitioned through roles including Staff Machine Learning Engineer and interim manager. Previous experience includes serving on the Executive Board of the Illini Club of the Bay Area and participating as a volunteer on the Builder Community Board for CMU Tech & Entrepreneurship. Jerry's early career features an internship in Advanced Risk and Compliance Analytics at PwC and a Software Engineer internship at Amazon. Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Language Technologies (ML/NLP) at Carnegie Mellon University, Jerry also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
