Massoud Hosseinali

Massoud Hosseinali is an experienced engineering manager specializing in machine learning, currently leading the fraud detection team at Stripe since July 2021. Prior to this role, Massoud served as a staff machine learning engineer and machine learning engineer at SoFi, beginning at Galileo Financial Technologies before its acquisition by SoFi. Massoud's earlier experience includes research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Utah and Sharif University of Technology, as well as an internship in the data analytics division of the Utah Department of Transportation. Massoud holds a PhD and a Master of Science degree from the University of Utah, in addition to a Master of Science degree from Sharif University of Technology.
