Wai Yong Low

Wai Yong Low is an accomplished engineering manager and technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and product development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Affirm since January 2021, Wai Yong Low oversees the Merchant Interfaces team focused on building public-facing APIs for buy now pay later checkout experiences. Additionally, as Chief Technology Officer at People Squared Solutions Limited since May 2017, Wai Yong Low is responsible for engineering and product development of a leadership training mobile app utilized by major consulting firms. Previous roles include Partner at Ragtrades, where Wai Yong Low developed data engineering and intelligence strategies, Cofounder and CTO at Malltip, contributing to capital raising and product development, Senior Software Engineer at ZocDoc, where foundational engineering culture was established, and Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems, focused on Java deployment. Wai Yong Low holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
