Hassan Ahmed has a strong and diverse work experience. Hassan started their career in 1984 as an Engineering Manager at Analog Devices in the DSP Division. From there, they moved on to become the CTO at Cascade Communications and later took on the role of EVP and GM Core Switching at Cascade/Ascend/Lucent. In 1999, they joined Sonus Networks where they served as Chairman and CEO until 2008. In 2009, they became a Senior Advisor at Charles River Ventures. Since 2010, they have been the Chairman and CEO of Affirmed Networks.
Hassan Ahmed attended Carleton University from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Hassan later pursued further education at Stanford University from 1978 to 1982, although information regarding their degree and field of study is not available.
