Tom Djurdjevich

Director of Project Management at Affirmed Systems

Tom Djurdjevich has over 13 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. Tom began their career in 2009 as the Director of Project Management at Affirmed Systems, where they managed IT projects and managed services for hedge funds, law firms, and eCommerce websites. In 2012, Tom moved to New York Blood Center as a Senior IT Support LAN Engineer, where they upgraded genomics (HLA) computers and coordinated technical support of Gammacell 3000 Irradiator security project. In 2014, Tom joined Sabey Data Centers as a Senior NOC Engineer, where they monitored cross country data center networks and provided Level 1 support for trouble tickets.

Tom then moved to Paul Hastings in 2019 as an IT Analyst for Windows 10 and Office 2016 Migration from Windows 7 and Office 2010, where they collected, backed up, re-imaged, and redeployed Lenovo Yoga laptops and ThinkCentre desktops. Tom also worked at Cooperstown Dreams Park as a Videographer, Cameraman, and Production Tech, where they videotaped championship and round robin games plus opening and closing ceremonies, and edited videos in Adobe Premiere 2019. Tom then worked at Milbank LLP as an IT Analyst for Windows 10 Migration, where they backed up laptops and desktops with User State Migration Tool (USMT). Tom then worked at Shiseido as an Information Technology Contractor, where they deployed Lenovo ThinkPad laptops and documented processes for teammates and self.

Tom then moved to Wilson Elser in 2020 as a Support Desk Consultant, where they reviewed and reduced Service Desk inbox queue after cyber event. Tom then worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as a User Support Specialist, where they provided Citrix support to end users in USA and offices in London, Hong Kong, São Paulo, and Tokyo. Tom is currently employed at Fisher Phillips as a Technical Support Technician, where their day to day responsibilities include answering service desk calls and responding to emails and ticket requests for service for all office locations. Tom also updates passwords in Active Directory and tested Jira before development as new ticketing system.

Tom Djurdjevich has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University at Buffalo, which they earned between 1990 and 1994. In 2020, they completed a NJIT Cybersecurity Certificate Bootcamp in collaboration with HackerU, and a Certificate in Oxford TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Cambridge CELTA from the University of Cambridge.
