Rachel Steber

Rachel Steber is the Associate General Counsel at AFGE, a position they have held since 2021. They previously served as an attorney and June D.W. Kalijarvi Law Fellow at Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch from 2019 to 2021, and completed a judicial internship for The Honorable Todd Edelman at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 2018. Rachel's legal experience includes a fellowship at the Equal Justice Center in 2017 and various roles at the AFL CIO and Thrive DC. They earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2019, following a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
