Farid Barukzai

Farid Barukzai is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and information technology. Currently serving as a Senior IT Planning Engineer at Afghan Telecom since March 2017, Farid has also held positions including Network Security and Network Security Officer at AfghanTelecom Company and Afghan Telecommunication Company. Prior to these roles, Farid worked as an IT Manager at Project Support Unit, where responsibilities included technical leadership and the development of information management systems across Afghanistan. Farid's experience also encompasses roles as an ICT Officer at Project Implementation Unit and Network Analysis at the Ministry of Finance in Kabul. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Bakhtar University and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from RANA University. Farid's earlier work includes teaching English at Tahyee Maskan Orphanage.
