Yassin Sibai

Yassin Sibai has a diverse and extensive work experience. Yassin is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Afia Foods since April 2017. In 2019, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at ERC dEX from August to December. Prior to that, they worked at Kasasa as the Vice President of Data Operations from April 2018 to January 2019. Yassin has a long tenure at Desjardins, where they started in 2012 as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of BizDev at Nexa Technologies, a Desjardin Company. During their time at Desjardins, Yassin played various roles and was involved in successful business transformations, establishing company direction and strategy, and executing a roadmap. Before Desjardins, Yassin worked at Penson Worldwide as the Vice President and Head of Product Development & Strategy from February 2010 to July 2012, where they managed technology ROI, supervised teams, and developed an agile product development process. Yassin also had other roles at Penson Worldwide, including Vice President and Head of Development at Penson ATS, where they played a crucial role in building a cutting-edge technology Alternative Trading System. Yassin's earlier experiences include co-founding and co-managing Rubicon Global Value Fund, working as a Senior Software Engineer at Revere Data, LLC, being a Software Engineer at SECTORBASE Inc. (later renamed to RevereData), and working as a Software Engineer at Interactive Technologies.

Yassin Sibai holds a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Balamand. Yassin completed this degree from 1995 to 1998. Years later, from 2010 to 2011, Yassin pursued further education in Executive Management and Business Strategy at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, where they earned a CIO MBA Certification.
