Kevin Alland

Kevin Alland has worked at multiple companies throughout their career. Kevin began their work experience as an Intern at Gewalt Hamilton Associates in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Engineering Technician at the Illinois Department of Transportation. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Structural Designer at Barber and Hoffman, Inc. Kevin then joined the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 as a Graduate Research Assistant, a role they held until 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to Afiniti as an Algorithm Engineer and later became a Senior Data Scientist in 2020. Currently, Kevin is employed at Afiniti as a Lead Data Scientist.

Kevin Alland completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Syracuse University, although the specific years of study are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Kevin also obtained a certification as a Program Graduate from The Data Incubator in 2018.
